This privacy statement sets out how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information when you interact with us via this website, when you apply to work with us via this website, or as one of our valued customers.  It also gives you information about how you can access your personal information and correct it if it’s incorrect.   

Robotics Plus Limited (we, us, our) complies with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 (the “Act”) when dealing with your personal information and we are committed to protecting your privacy. We only use the personal information that we hold about you in accordance with the Act and on the terms outlined below.

What information do we collect?

We collect your personal information when you communicate with us, such as when you:

  • Submit a contact form request on our website;

  • Make applications or contact us for prospective employment or contracting opportunities via the website;

  • Call us on the telephone; and

  • Meet with us to discuss your business.

This information does not identify you personally and is not linked to any personal information that you may have provided (eg in the contact form).

Who do we share this information with?

We are accountable and responsible for the personal information we obtain no matter who holds it or processes it on our behalf.  Our agreements with third party service providers protect the information that we collect from any use by them that we have not authorised.  We also take our own reasonable steps to keep your personal information safe from loss, unauthorised activity or other misuse.

The aggregated data (not the personally identifiable information) we collect about your use of this website may be shared with third parties such as advertisers or business partners.

How do we use the information?

How do we use "cookies"?

We use cookies and tracking technology on our website.  "Cookies" are small pieces of information stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive.  Cookies do not contain personally identifying information.  It does provide details of your IP address, the computer platform that you use (e.g. Mac or Windows), the browser that you use (e.g. Microsoft Explorer or Netscape) and what domain you are accessing our sites from.  With this information we can do the following:

  1. Track traffic patterns to our site.

  2. Ensure that the most relevant content is being shown.

  3. Allow you to enter certain site member services without having to log in each time you visit. 

Most web browsers are set up to accept cookies.  You can usually change your browser settings to refuse cookies. You will still be able to visit our sites with cookies disabled.

What about our advertisers and business partners?

You should be aware that we are not responsible for the practices of any third parties.  Our website may contain links to other sites.  You should check their privacy policies before providing personally identifiable information to them or any other third party.

Can we change this policy?

In order to reflect the fact that our business is growing constantly, we reserve the right to change this policy at any time by uploading a revised policy onto the website.  The changes will apply from the date we upload the revised policy.

Your right to access your information

The Act gives you the right to ask for a copy of the personal information that we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.  If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact us using the contact information on our website.
